John Lawson

Lawson is a proud native of North Carolina. He owes a debt of gratitude to his southern upbringing. This setting would be responsible for the origin of his artistic inclinations. His skills would be further developed and nourished at the University of Syracuse were he would receive a B.A in Fine Arts. John has been a resident of Bridgeport, Connecticut for the past 40 years. Lawson's ties to his community is evident with several memberships with local and regional art organizations throughout Connecticut. His work is a part of businesses, churches and private collections throughout the east coast. 

John continues to serve as a mentor to others seeking to travel the path of artistic expression. He provides art instruction and training classes in groups as well as private settings. John also conducts workshops throughout the Fairfield County area. He is committed to promoting the arts in his local community. Lawson's firm belief is that "The Arts" has and always will continue to improve the quality of our lives.
