WORKSHOPS

Explore the approach to pastel portraits by bringing your favorite photo. bring a photo that you will love to paint. The instructor will help you bring it to life in our session together. Relax.....be inspired and encouraged to learn more about chrome, value and hue. Light and darkness, color temperature as well as basic fundamentals of drawing will be topics of discussion.


         COMMISSIONS

John Lawson's goal is to ensure your custom artwork is an exciting, heartwarming and memorable journey. Whatever the subject...whether it's a portrait, pet portrait, landscape or wildlife;  Lawson embraces all wholeheartedly. Don't hesitate to contact  Art Law, however obscure it may be. 
If you have that favorite photograph that you would like Lawson to transfer into a work of art, please get in touch and we can discuss what would be best for you. Lawson will work together with ideas, choosing different backgrounds and poses. If you haven't a suitable photograph, Lawson offers a free photography session to achieve the reference image needed if you live within a twenty mile radius of where Art Law Production is based, which is Bridgeport CT. 

If you live beyond the radius, a travel fee would need to be discussed. If you would like a quote on what you require; first choose the medium you would like the work to be in; whether it be oil, pastel or graphite.

 

JOHN LAWSON'S  PROCESS

You place an order for commission work. Initial concept created and provided to you.
Agreed
You then make a 25% deposit payment via pay pal. Work commence and an estimated first draft date provided.
Your artwork is created and a sample image supplied.
Happy 
Final payment is made and the artwork is sent by mail or if local, can be delivered upon discussed arrangement. 

      PAY BY INSTALLMENTS

Spread the cost over several months by paying by installments. It is a get way to pay...it takes the sting out of one big payment. With each payment, Lawson would send you a receipt showing the part payment and the balance. Just pay each month until the balance is paid in full, then Lawson will deliver your artwork.

           WHY A DEPOSIT

Once I get your confirmation and you are happy with the reference image, Lawson would need a 25% deposit before artwork can be started, which can be paid via Pay Pal. This would give you peace of mind that your payment is secure and that Lawson would honor and fulfill your requirements and it would also give assurance that you are serious about using our services.  With Pay Pal, you can rest assure all is above board and secure. Don't worry if you don't have a Pay Pal account, you can still pay with a credit card through them.  


 


PAINT PARTY

Why not let the party come to you. Instructional painting have never been so easy. Art Law Productions  will bring the paint party to your space. Whether that space is home, in office, or an activity center. ALP will bring the party to you. If you provide the space to accommodate your guess along with tables and chairs, ALP will provide everything else to get this party started. How easy is that. John Lawson will provide his easy going delivery of painting instructions as he navigates you and your guess in completing a successful painting for the evening. All it takes is a text or a call to get this party started.
